If you’ve ever had the unfortunate experience of seeing a post you’ve shared disappear from your Instagram feed, there’s a good chance it was un-reported. Here’s how to do it:
- Open up the post you want to un-report in your Instagram app.
- Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the post (or if it’s a video, tap on the screen where it starts playing).
- On the next screen, tap on “Report Post.”
- Enter your comment and tap on “Submit Report.”
- Your comment will now be hidden from other users and will not appear in your post or story until it is approved by Instagram. ..
Yes, you can delete a report on Instagram. To do so, first select the profile of the user who reported your content. Then tap the three dots in the upper-right corner and tap “Report.” Next, tap “I want to remove this report” and then tap “Remove” to confirm your selection.

The easiest way to un-report a post is to use the “Report” link on the upper right-hand corner of the post.
To delete a post on Instagram, the user must go to their profile and click on the three dots in the upper right corner. From there, they can select “Delete Post.” However, this will only delete the post on your account. If you want to remove it from everyone’s account who has seen your post, then you would need to report it as spam or abuse.
To see reported posts, first go to the “Activity” tab. Once there, click on the “Reported Posts” button. This will take you to a list of all the posts that have been reported by other users. You can also report posts from this page by clicking on the “Report Post” button next to any post.

To unhide someone else’s post on Instagram, you have to go to their profile and tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner. There should be an option for “View Posts.” This will allow you to see all of their posts, including the one that was previously hidden.
The only way to find out who reported you on Instagram is if the person left a comment with their username. If they did not, then there is no way to find out who reported you.
The intentionality of a reported account on Instagram is not executed immediately. It takes a few days for the account to be deleted once it has been reported. This reflects a responsibility in line with the social media company’s terms of service which holds that the company will investigate any reported content, and “remove content that violates their policies.” This contrasts heavily with YouTube, where reports are handled much more quickly.
Instagram takes reports of bullying, harassment, and threats very seriously. When someone reports a post on Instagram, we review the content and take appropriate action. This could include removing the comment or blocking the person who posted it. We also provide resources to people who are being bullied or harassed online.
